Roots in KwaZulu-Natal
Founded in March 2019 by Dr Shaun Groenink, GreenHill Laboratories began with three staff members
and a clear vision. Within months, it established a permanent base in Hilton, KwaZulu-Natal. Launching just before the global Covid-19 pandemic might have been a setback, but instead the laboratory quickly
became the only private commercial dairy testing facility in the province. In November 2020, it achieved
South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) accreditation, a milestone that reinforced its credibility.
