Retail Banking

Our retail banking division aims to deliver a Universal Financial Services Offering with a wide range of solutions that are tailored to suit individual client needs throughout all journeys in their lives. Our boutique of retail banking solutions ranges from student banking to young professionals, private & prestige banking and small and medium enterprises.

 

We aim to remain relevant in the markets in which we operate and our experienced and passionate teams are located across the province spanning across all major municipal boundaries. Our teams' continuous dedication to placing clients at the centre of all they do as well as understanding their needs, has resulted in Standard Bank achieving the biggest reduction in retail banking customer complaints reported to the Ombudsman for Banking Services South Africa (OBS) in 2018 compared to other banks. Simultaneously, Standard Bank was also nominated for two awards in recognition of our efforts in dealing with customer disputes and the demonstration of our commitment to treating customers fairly. This is a significant achievement in our efforts to be a client-centric bank.

 

Business Banking

As a leading financial services partner, our Business Banking segment within KZN comprises six suites spanning the entire Province through representation across all municipal boundaries covering key sectors such as Public Sector, Agriculture and Franchising.
