EThekwini Municipality and Southern Sun Hotels today, 29 October signed a R1 billion lease investment for the redevelopment of two of Durban’s iconic hotels- namely the Elangeni and Maharani Towers.

Young minds from more than 50 schools in eThekwini were enriched at the recent Youth Employability Indaba and Career Expo hosted by eThekwini Municipality.

The direct economic impact of Africa’s Travel Indaba on Durban’s GDP is estimated at R574 million, with direct spending totalling more than R232 million, highlighting the substantial economic benefits.
