Dear Clients and Partners,
As the second quarter of 2025 comes to a close, we thank you again for your ongoing support. Here’s a look at what’s been happening at ND Engineering over the past few months.
Upgrading Our In-House Capabilities
Excellence is a moving target, and we’re always aiming higher. This quarter, we’ve made three key investments in our in-house capabilities to improve precision, efficiency, and quality.
1. Helium Leak Detection Machine
We’ve added a state-of-the-art Helium Leak Detection Machine to our quality control arsenal. This system detects even the smallest leaks in tube-to-tube sheet welds and pressure components. We’ve brought this process in-house, enhancing both our efficiency and control over quality assurance. This machine is ultra-sensitive to leaks, safe and inert, and ideal for critical welded joints. This upgrade enhances our orbital welding operations and gives us greater flexibility and control.
2. Laser Cleaning System
Our new laser cleaning system uses high-energy pulses to remove rust, oxides, oil, and coatings without chemicals or abrasives. It’s clean, eco-friendly, and non-contact, ensuring stronger welds and better surface prep.
3. Advanced 3D Modelling
We’re also streamlining design with Autodesk Inventor, enabling accurate 3D models that integrate seamlessly into client site layouts. This helps reduce manufacturing time and costs while improving design clarity.
4. Watch this SpaceKeep your eyes on ND Engineering's LinkedIn for the installation and commissioning of our 20KW Laser Cutting Machine, which is scheduled to be completed by Friday, 18th July 2025.
