GIVING TRIBUTE TO BUSINESS BRILLIANCE IN KZN

The KZN Top Business Awards, presented by Standard Bank and Women of Africa Group in collaboration with East Coast Radio, took place on July 17 at Coastlands Musgrave Hotel in Durban. Hosted by East Coast Radio's Carol Ofori, the evening celebrated business excellence with notable attendees including business leaders and media members. Rishaad Webster of Standard Bank praised the winners for their contributions to the province's economy, highlighting the importance of resilience and innovation. Keynote speaker Lincoln Mali emphasized personal leadership and direct team engagement. A new award recognizing top business women was introduced, with Nosipho Siwisa-Damasane honored for her leadership in transport and logistics. Advocate Pria Hassan of the WOA Group underscored the power of women-led entrepreneurship in combating poverty and fostering opportunity. The prestigious KZN Top Business Leader of the Year award was given to Captain Salvatore Sarno of MSC South Africa for his influence in the shipping industry. Grant Adlam of KZN Top Business commended all participants, noting how their success inspires others and uplifts communities.
