The annual Standard Bank KZN Top Business Awards will take place at a hybrid event at the Radisson Blu Hotel uMhlanga on 27 July 2022.
The awards celebrate the success of businesses, large and small, and honour their achievements in a range of categories. To be eligible for a category award, entrants need to demonstrate how their companies have embraced the principles of the King IV Report on Corporate Governance in South Africa 2016. Factors such as stakeholder relations, environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and quality of governance are all considered in the formal judging process.
In order to reflect the challenges of the past two and a half years, the categories to be awarded in 2022 are as follows:
