We are proud to share that Sandock Austral Shipyards was recognised as a Finalist at the 13th Africa & Middle East Gender Mainstreaming Awards, hosted by Business Engage Association NPC, which is celebrating 20 years of advancing gender mainstreaming across the region.



Operating in a traditionally male-dominated industry, and being the only company in our industry nominated, this recognition affirms our commitment to driving intentional change, advancing gender equity, and creating inclusive pathways for leadership and growth.



The awards brought together leading JSE-listed and non-listed companies, recognising organisations that are embedding measurable progress in gender equity and inclusive leadership.



Sandock Austral Shipyards was proudly represented at the ceremony by our Group Chief Financial Officer, Rakhee Dharamlall, who accepted the recognition on behalf of the organisation.
