Spot-On Fire Controls is South African Bureau of Standard (SASS) approved and complies with South African National Standards (SANS)1475. The specifications laid out in SANS 1475 specifically deal administrative and technical details and controls relating to portable fire extinguishers, fire extinguishers, hydrants and hoses.

Fire equipment is designed to save lives and property, but if installed or maintained incorrectly, lives or property can be at risk. As such any persons working on such equipment must be registered as competent, and in the case of fire extinguishers, the company itself must have a SANS 1475 permit.

The company also complies with the South African Qualification & Certification Committee (SAQCC) -
Fire Safety certification.
