AWSISA Africa & Global South has officially announced the upcoming AWSISA Dialogue 2026 Golf Challenge, an elite networking and sporting event aimed at uniting leaders to address the continent's most pressing environmental challenges. Under the powerful theme, "Driving Partnerships for Water Security and Climate Resilience," this unique initiative demonstrates that solving global issues can extend far beyond boardroom discussions—proving to be truly "More than a Game."


The exclusive event is scheduled to tee off on Sunday, 22 November 2026, from 06:00 to 13:00 at the prestigious Royal Durban Golf Course in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.


A Round with Purpose

The challenge is structured around a Four-Ball format (4 players per team) with a playing fee of R1300 per person. It is open to water sector leaders, global partners, sponsors, and key sustainability stakeholders. Rather than a traditional tournament, this event serves as a strategic precursor to the broader AWSISA Africa & Global South Water and Sanitation Dialogue 2026, which takes place later that week from 23–26 November at the Durban ICC.
