Jochen Faber Joins BusinessFit as a New Mentor
BusinessFit is pleased to welcome Jochen Faber CA(SA) as one of its newest mentors, bringing more than 30 years of business, financial and executive experience to entrepreneurs and business leaders.
A Chartered Accountant, Senior Business Rescue Practitioner and experienced commercial advisor, Jochen brings a practical, numbers-driven approach to business growth, strategy and sustainability. His career has taken him from Deloitte Consulting and senior financial leadership roles to working directly with businesses as a Fractional CFO and commercial advisor.
Jochen has a strong track record of helping organisations navigate growth, change and complexity. Among his key achievements, he helped grow Access Freight Group’s revenue from R100 million to R1 billion in five years, and has been involved in raising more than R300 million and securing contracts worth R750 million per annum. His experience spans manufacturing, automotive, logistics and supply chain, retail and FMCG, financial services, property and infrastructure, public sector and SEZs, as well as entrepreneurial development.

Jochen’s approach to business is built around three key stages: Strategise, Design and Build.
He works with businesses to understand where they want to go, translate their ambitions into measurable financial goals, and then develop the structures and systems needed to support those goals. Jochen’s professional capabilities include fractional CFO and interim executive services, strategy and change, productivity and scale, corporate finance and advisory, mediation and expert witness services, as well as business rescue. He is also a licensed Business Rescue Practitioner through SARIPA.
His experience extends beyond traditional financial management. He has served as a financial expert to NUMSA’s Rapid Response Panel and has participated in more than 20 CCMA S189A facilitations. He has also been a TOPP-accredited training officer and mentored a trainee through to becoming a CA(SA).
