In just over a month, the Pietermaritzburg and Midlands Chamber of Business will present the 2022 Business Awards at its scintillating annual banquet.
Sponsored by Investec, the awards and banquet is one of the highlights on the city’s calendar that pays tribute to the achievements of the chamber’s top companies. The gala event at the Royal Showgrounds on Friday, 11 November will recognise eight awards.
The awards on offer include four Business of the Year accolades - manufacturing, services sector, retail and professional and state-owned enterprises - in addition to the recognition for the top medium enterprise, small business, champion entrepreneur, franchisee of the year, and social enterprise of the year.
The Chamber’s awards programme aims to recognise members who establish a track record of merited achievement over and above the median level. Accordingly, invite nominations/entries from anyone within the PMCB membership are invited to nominate a company, an entity or an individual as the case may be, or a company, an entity or individual may enter on their own initiative.
Companies and individuals have until Wednesday, 19 October to submit their applications.
