Changan has officially announced their plans to re-enter the South African commercial vehicle sector, under their “Changan Commercial" brand name. This move follows the brand’s entry into the South African market last year with their passenger vehicles, such as the UNI-S and Hunter K50 REEV, both cars which we have already featured and reviewed.

Grant Adlam and I got the opportunity to review Changan’s 7-seater family SUV, the CS75 Pro, and oh my did it wow us in more ways than just design.

The Changan Hunter K50 REEV is an AWD range-extender electric bakkie with a futuristic design paired with proper luxury. This is also the world’s first range-extender electric bakkie.

The Changan UNI-S gives a bold first impression with its strikingly gorgeous appearance reminiscent of American car designs, giving the car a tough and “I’m quite capable” look, and it certainly is.
