WOMEN OF AFRICA YOUTH RECOGNITION AWARD

Shiv Ramsander, better known as Shiv Shuffler, has been recognised with the inaugural Women of Africa (WOA) Youth Recognition Award at the 2026 KZN Top Business Awards, celebrating his remarkable contribution to South Africa’s entertainment industry and his innovative approach to music and live performance. Accepting the award, an emotional Shiv expressed his gratitude for the recognition and the people who have supported his journey.

Your love and support continue to inspire us to push the boundaries of entertainment in South Africa.” Shiv Shuffler has become one of South Africa’s most exciting entertainers, creating a unique fusion of Bollywood music, electronic beats and traditional percussion. His career reached another milestone with the launch of his groundbreaking Bhajan Clubbing concept in Durban, an innovative event that attracted thousands by blending devotion with dance in a way not previously seen at this scale in South Africa.

Although he briefly stepped away from music to study mechanical engineering, Shiv later returned with a renewed vision. Inspired by international Bollywood DJ culture and the use of live dhol drummers, he developed a distinctive performance style that combines high-energy electronic music with The Youth award went to Shiv Shuffler and the Dhol Army traditional percussion.

This vision gave rise to Shiv Shuffler and the Dhol Army, a dynamic performance concept that has captivated audiences across the country and established him as one of South Africa’s most sought after live entertainers.
