Marlene Powell is celebrating the 15th business anniversary of her ActionCOACH franchise in 2023. Her journey began 2008 when she became the first woman to own an ActionCOACH franchise in South Africa.
Together with her assistant of the last eight years, Lauren Vermaak, Marlene was excited to celebrate the years that have passed and anticipates much success in the years to come. To mark the occasion, Marlene and Lauren hosted a networking event at the Pencil Club on the 14 March. Many of their clients – both past and present – were there to wish them well and took the opportunity to thank them for the impact that had been had on their own lives and businesses.
ActionCOACH Southern Africa Master Licensee Harry Welby-Cooke was also there to applaud this amazing journey.
Apart from reflecting on the past 15 years, Marlene announced a new first; she will be the first ActionCOACH franchisee to launch the new C.A.R.E Eco-System in South Africa! This approach revolves around a community of like-minded business owners with whom you can network and build alliances.
