David White had the wonderful pleasure of joining some of KwaZulu-Natal’s masterminds in conservation to investigate a new game reserve opportunity in northern KwaZulu-Natal called Loziba Wildlife Reserve. The game reserve exists in its primitive state, with no boundary fences, and much of the land used by animals being at the mercy of local farmers and communities. The vision for Loziba Wildlife Reserve is that the land will be rewilded and restored to its natural uncultivated state. The goal is to reintroduce species of wild animals that had been driven out or exterminated.
